Layers of tempting and curious sound textures intertwined with unconventional melodies with a dash of Humantonic signature beats. This compilation features new songs, remixes and remasters for personal listening devices. Humantonic made music for 20,000 square feet halls and they've mixed it all down to fit into 14 inch or less space. All the sounds you hear on this recording are audible.

The original sounds for “Deconstructed” come from an art installation where an upright piano was taken apart. The first five songs use samples from the deconstruction session extensively. Song number 6 “Beginning” is recorded from a live performance with guest vocalist April Berton. The final 3 pieces “Sonic Landscape” are a journey through a digital sound-scape of an urban setting.

A collection of songs that are not bound by any boundaries. Taking musical experimentation to a new level with samples that date back to August 1969, the year and month of ‘The Woodstock Festival’ and on July 20th of that same year Apollo 11 landed on the moon. April’s voice is interwoven into works with a wide array of emotion and sonic landscapes. Your music collection will never be complete without ‘Age of the Moon’. (Original Release Nov. 1, 2005)

Hardcore Ballerina is filled with originality and variety. April Berton brings us more original songs with their own off-beat rhythmic structures. Each song borrows from a wide palette of sounds and musical styles. The meanings found within this CD are profound even if at times they are expressed in a whimsical (Original release 2005)
